Playing in Cary at the WakeMed Soccer Park on Friday night, the third-ranked UNC men’s soccer team scored twice in each half to pull out a 4-1 victory over the Stetson Hatters in the second of three preseason exhibition games.
After scoring the first two goals in the opening 20 minutes, the Tar Heels made it 3-0 just two minutes into the second half on the way to an easy victory against an overmatched opponent.
In all, a total of 23 different players saw the field for UNC–which is preparing to try and make a run this season at its third straight NCAA College Cup appearance.
