For the second time this season, UNC senior forward Luke Maye was named the ACC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Maye scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the Tar Heels’ 88-72 win over then-No. 1 Duke last Wednesday, becoming just the second player in college basketball history to post those numbers in a win against the nation’s No. 1 team.

The Huntersville native then followed up that performance with 15 points and 11 rebounds in UNC’s blowout win over then-No. 16 Florida State this past Saturday.

So far this season, Maye is averaging 15.1 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
