The ACC announced Monday that UNC freshman point guard Coby White has been selected as the league’s Co-Rookie of the Week alongside Duke standout RJ Barrett.
In the Tar Heels’ only game last week–a 103-82 win over then-No. 10 Virginia Tech–White led the team in four major statistical categories. The Goldsboro native tallied 27 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in the win.
This made him the first UNC player in 18 years to lead the team in all of those categories in a single game.
