CBS Sports released its list of preseason men’s basketball All-Americans on Wednesday, naming UNC freshman point guard Cole Anthony as a Second Team selection.

This is one of many preseason honors for Anthony, who has already been named preseason ACC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-ACC.

The son of former NBA player and current TV analyst Greg Anthony arrives in Chapel Hill as one of the top recruits in the nation, having been the MVP of both the McDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic.

Anthony will be filling some large shoes, as well, taking over the point guard spot from Coby White–the No. 7 overall pick in last June’s NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.

Joining him on CBS Sports’ Second Team All-American roster are: Tre Jones (Duke), Devon Dotson (Kansas), Isaiah Stewart (Washington) and James Wiseman (Memphis).

The First Team roster includes: Cassius Winston (Michigan State), Markus Howard (Marquette), Jordan Nwora (Louisville), Kerry Blackshear Jr. (Florida) and Myles Powell (Seton Hall).
