Just days after being the only Tar Heel selected to the Preseason All-ACC football team, UNC junior wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams was one of 43 players named to the watch list for this year’s Hornung Award.

The award has been given annually for the last eight seasons by the Louisville Sports Commission to the most versatile player in college football.

Over the last six seasons, the winner of the Hornung Award has also gone on to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Ratliff-Williams enters the 2018 season as the Tar Heels’ top playmaker after catching a team-high six touchdown passes in 2017, and running back a pair of kickoffs for scores on special teams.

He is one of six ACC players included on the award’s preseason watch list.
