The ITA championships have become a second home for UNC women’s tennis, who have either won or been the runner-up in the last seven women’s indoor team tournaments and eight of the last nine. Graham’s victory in the fall singles championship marked the second straight season that a Tar Heel has stood atop the field. Sara Daavettila won the event in 2019.
Scotty, a rising junior, will be the only one of the three to return to Chapel Hill this fall. The women’s tennis program will look to continue its dominance in the ITA circuit as well as capture its first NCAA team championship. The team fell to Pepperdine in the national semifinals in May.
