Just days after being released by the Detroit Lions, former UNC tight end Eric Ebron has found a new home–signing a two-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night worth up to $15 million.

The 10th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft coming out of Chapel Hill, Ebron started 36 of the 57 games he played in for the Lions while catching 186 passes for 2,070 yards and 11 touchdowns.

He has faced criticism, however, for not living up to his lofty draft position just yet.

With the Colts, Ebron should find a new beginning with superstar quarterback Andrew Luck if Luck returns healthy from a shoulder injury that caused him to miss the 2017 season.
