A Chapel Hill convenience store is closed on Friday after an SUV crashed into the storefront.

Emergency officials were on the scene around 11 a.m. Friday at Carolina Blue Mini Mart on Old Durham Road. A white SUV had crashed through the glass and caution tape was around the area as investigators were working to determine what happened.

Chapel Hill Police spokesman Ran Northam said there were no injuries reported as a result of the crash. Because concrete support structures were damaged, the business will be closed until an inspector can survey the area, Northam said.
