****UPDATE: Police said in an update Sunday evening that White has “returned home and is no longer considered missing.”****

Chapel Hill Police are asking for assistance locating a 57-year-old man who has been missing since early Wednesday morning.

Authorities described Wayne Tyrone White Senior as a black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing an estimated 185 pounds. White has brown eyes and is bald.

Authorities said he was last seen wearing a navy t-shirt, khaki shorts and black tennis shoes.

White may be in Durham, according to law enforcement. He was last seen operating a black 2018 Nissan Sentra with black rims and an Uber sticker in the window. Police said the vehicle is believed to have been near Holloway Street in Durham late Wednesday night.

Anyone with information regarding White’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact Orange County Communications at (919) 732-5063.
