Chapel Hill Police are investigating a crash involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Friday morning.
Police say the crash occurred at the intersection of US 15-501 and Brandon Road, at approximately 6:40.
The pedestrian was transported to UNC Hospital in serious condition, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Authorities have not released the pedestrian’s name. The investigation is ongoing.
