As UNC students are away on spring break this week, the Chapel Hill Transit bus schedule will run a little differently.
The transit system announced last week it has adjusted its services from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 15. Four routes will be affected the most: the U, NU, Safe Ride, and EZ-Rider lines.
The weekend U and NU routes will not operate until Sunday, March 15. The weekday NU route will additionally not operate during the week of March 9, resuming its normal weekday schedule on Monday, March 16. The Safe Ride routes will not operate until Thursday, March 19. The EZ-Rider lines had adjusted service hours this past weekend and will again on Saturday, March 14.
UNC’s spring break is one of the many times during the year Chapel Hill Transit alters its hours of operation and services. To find a full list of other periods or holidays the transit system is on a break, visit the Town of Chapel Hill website.
