Orange County authorities have identified the man shot and killed inside his home on Sunday as 29-year-old Brandon Lee.

Officials say that Lee was killed at his residence on Brockwell Road “during a domestic dispute.” Deputies were dispatched to the scene by 25-year-old Kellie Younts when she called 911 to report the shooting.

“This loss of life is unfortunate, and reminds us that our community is not immune to domestic violence,” Orange County Sheriff Charles Blackwood said in a release. “October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and I encourage Orange County residents to educate themselves about this serious public health issue.”

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and that no other information is available at this time.
