A Chatham County man has been arrested on charges he solicited a sex act from a minor.
Officials say the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office received a report in February that 23-year-old Ryan Charles Solowsky, of Herring Path in Bear Creek, was “sending inappropriate messages to a child via cell phone.”
Authorities say an investigation revealed the message and “found evidence that the suspect had enticed the child to commit an unlawful sex act,” according to a release.
Solowsky has been charged with one count of felony solicitation of a child by computer or other electronic device, according to deputies, and he was assigned a $5,000 secured bond. Solowsky is scheduled to appear in Chatham County Court on November 20.
