The Chapel Hill Police Department is currently investigating a hit and run that took place on Homestead Road Thursday night.
The victim was riding a bicycle at the time of the incident and was found on Homestead Road near Aquatic Drive at 7:29 p.m.
Police said the victim is currently being treated at UNC Hospitals. A vehicle description and condition of the victim is not available at this time.
Chapel Hill police are asking anyone who was in the area or may have information about the case to call the department during normal business hours at 919-968-2760.
Alternatively, those with information can call Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crimestoppers at 919-942-7515 to remain anonymous. Information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $2,000 dollars.
