Chapel Hill Police are asking for helping identifying a suspect in a larceny at a convenience store last week.
Authorities said on Thursday evening that the incident occurred at the Circle K at 1501 East Franklin Street around 3 p.m. last Wednesday, March 20.
Officials described the suspect as a female in her 50s or 60s with blonde hair. She was estimated at 5 feet 2 inches tall. Police said she was seen driving a black sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.
Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the suspect is asked to call Chapel Hill Police between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at (919) 968-2760 or 911 and Crime Stoppers, at (919) 942-7515, can be contacted at any time of day. Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
