A motorist caused damage to a Hillsborough business’ storefront early Saturday morning.
The pet supply business Paws at the Corner, located on South Nash Street, shared a post to its Facebook page alerting the community of an incident. The post said a motorist drove into the building Saturday morning, with significant damage seen in business’ photo. A Paws at the Corner employee said in subsequent Facebook comments a motorist lost control of their vehicle.
According to the post, the collision caused no injuries and the store had not yet opened for the day.
The Hillsborough community experienced another recent accident where a motorist caused damage to a storefront. In April, a driver collided with the side of the town’s ABC store and entered a storage area.
Paws at the Corner said in its post that it remained open on Saturday despite the damage.
