Festifall will return to downtown Chapel Hill this autumn with some changes. This year, there will be only two market dates: Saturday, October 26 and Saturday, November 2. However, both dates will be themed: October 26 will be Carolina Day, and priority will be given to market applicants local to the Triangle and North Carolina. November 2 will be Día de los Muertos, and priority will be given to Hispanic, Latina, Latino and Latine applicants.
Each day will have its own applications, and applicants interested in both dates must fill out both. There are no fees to apply or participate, and the applications can be found here. The application deadline is Monday, August 26 at 5 p.m.
The Festifall market will be located at the plaza at 140 West Franklin Street. Official hours are listed as 12 p.m. through 5 p.m., but vendors should expect to be onsite from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on their market dates. For visitors, biking, walking and riding Chapel Hill Transit is recommended, but parking will be available at the 140 West Franklin Street plaza. More parking information can be found here.
