The Atlantic Coast Conference finalized the dates of several rescheduled men’s basketball games Monday afternoon, two of which affect UNC.

Carolina’s home game against Virginia Tech, which was scheduled for December 29 but postponed due to COVID protocols within the Hokies’ program, has been moved to Monday, January 24 at 8 p.m. on ACC Network. This new date means the Tar Heels will play five games within an 11-day span, starting with a January 18 road game at Miami and ending with a January 29 home game against NC State. Three of those games will take place the week of January 24 through January 30: Virginia Tech on the 24th, Boston College at home on the 26th, and the NC State game on the 29th.

In addition UNC’s road game at Louisville, originally scheduled for January 31, has been moved to Tuesday, February 1 at 8 p.m. That game will also be broadcast on ACC Network.

The Tar Heels will not take the court again until this coming Saturday, when Georgia Tech visits the Smith Center. That game is scheduled for 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network. UNC won its first game with the Yellow Jackets this season, 79-62.
