The Chapel Hill Police Department is requesting the public’s help identifying someone accused of stealing from a UNC fraternity house.
Police said several items were stolen from the Delta Chi fraternity house on West Cameron Avenue on Saturday, October 9.
The suspect is seen on Delta Chi surveillance video walking from room to room and is reported to have stolen items. The crime happened sometime between about 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., according to officials.
A spokesperson for the police department said an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or call 911. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can call Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crimestoppers at 919- 942-7515. Information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a reward up to $2,000.
