The top-ranked UNC men’s tennis team went on the road Friday and remained undefeated on the season with a 4-1 victory over Louisville.

After the Tar Heels (9-0, 3-0 ACC) won the doubles point to begin the match, they clinched the overall team win with singles victories by Mac Kiger (6-3, 6-3), Logan Zapp (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) and Rinky Hijikata (7-5, 7-6).

Dating back to last season, UNC has now won its last 11 matches and claimed the ITA National Indoor Championship.

The Tar Heels will look to stay hot in their next match on Sunday at Notre Dame. That match is set to begin at noon.
