Parking permits for Chapel Hill residential parking districts are scheduled to expire on July 31st.
Residents who live on a street where parking is prohibited and have no practical way of parking off the street may apply for a new permit as of July 3.
The fee for a residential parking permit is $25 per year, except for residents age 65 or older, whose fees will be waived.
