The Wilson Park playground in Carrboro is closed while crews are repairing damage to playground surfaces, the town announced Tuesday.
Officials say the damage occurred during the heavy rain events over the past week.
Town crews are asking residents to refrain from using the equipment while “Facility Closed” signs are in place.
Officials say the repairs are expected to be made by January 15.
