The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its annual All-American teams on Wednesday, with four Tar Heels making the cut.

Senior long-stick defender Austin Pifani–a captain in each of the last two seasons for head coach Joe Breschi–was UNC’s lone First Team selection.

Junior attacker Chris Cloutier, the ACC Tournament MVP, found a place on the Third Team roster–while fellow attacker Luke Goldstock and defensive midfielder Tate Jozokos were each named to the Honorable Mention team.

Pifani, Goldstock and Jozokos were each previously named All-ACC selections, with Pifani taking home the conference Defensive Player of the Year award.

Cloutier led UNC with 36 goals this season, while Goldstock–the school’s fifth all-time leading scoring–was just behind him with 32.

Jozokos played in all 16 games for the Tar Heels as a senior, finishing second on the team with 40 groundballs picked up.

UNC finished the year with an 8-8 record, a conference tournament title and a loss to Albany in the NCAA Tournament First Round.
