UNC men’s basketball opens the 2018-19 season with a tough road game against Wofford, a team that beat the Tar Heels 79-75 in Chapel Hill last season.
As such, students at Wofford were eager to get tickets to see the Terriers play host to UNC in Spartanburg, South Carolina. A video from Wofford Athletics, later re-posted by NCAA men’s basketball, showed a long line of students camped out in order to get tickets.

Tuesday’s matchup against Wofford is the start of a difficult non-conference schedule for Carolina basketball. NCAA.com correspondent Andy Katz made the case for UNC’s non-conference schedule as the toughest in the nation, including this week’s game against Wofford and SoCon Preseason Player of Year Fletcher McGee.
