Maize Craze at Cane Creek Farm
Thursday, October 9; Friday, October 10; Saturday, October 11; Sunday, October 12
Starting this Friday and continuing through October, Cane Creek Farm will host its first annual Maize Craze. Explore a maze in the shape of a celtic cross carved into an 11-acre corn field. Organ Recital by Dr. Joseph Causby

Chris Thile at Memorial Hall

The Master Gardener volunteers of Orange County will hold PlantFest on Saturday at Blackwood Farm Park (use the entrance near 1440 New Hope Church Rd.). This weekend at the Kenan Conference Center, Carolina Public Humanities will be holding a seminar Native North Carolina Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. Kathleen Duval, 2025 Pulitzer Prize winner for history will be discussing the indigenous history of the Roanoke encounter with Europeans in the 16th century.
