As such, Sup Dogs restaurant has decided to do a good deed for Popeyes employees. The restaurant announced on Twitter that it would offer free food to any Popeyes employees in uniform.
“Working in a restaurant is an incredible hard job,” the tweet said. “We respect the grind and appreciate the hard work!”

A Chick-fil-A worker in Greensboro took a similar approach and brought food to his competitors in the restaurant industry.
Popeyes is encouraging its customers to download its app to get notifications as to when the chicken sandwich will be released again. Whether the restaurant is actually out of chicken, or if this is just a viral marketing campaign remains to be seen.
