Happy Summer! In a previous Chapelboro piece I talked about huge style trends for 2017. Now let’s refresh for summer, as June 21 officially marks the start. Summer soirees and events seem to pop up left and right like family reunions, girls’ beach bash, outdoor weddings and sorority conventions, just to name a few. Time to celebrate, and dress to look your best! Here are some hot trends to complete your summer wardrobe and keep you in cool style.
Ruffle Mania
A touch of romantic femininity takes over dresses and blouses. It’s the perfect look for that summer wedding you’re attending. Strategically placed to flatter, ruffles are the new cutouts.

Cold Shoulder
Be bold and go cold shoulder. Not a new trend but one that plays perfectly with the summer heat and showing that golden glow.

Embroidery Detail
It’s all about the details with patterns on everything from blouses to jeans to shoes. Embroidery makes a statement with pops of unique patterns and color. A dress with a combination of ruffles, cold shoulder and embroidery combines three summer trends in one!

Lace Look
Who doesn’t love a little lace? Even though wedding season is here, it’s not just for the big day anymore. Lace has found its way into casual wear too.

Garden Party
Maybe the floral look never really goes away. But this summer I’m seeing a lot of the botanical and floral look on rompers, jumpsuits and dresses. Add some fruit to the mix with lemons and limes and other fruit adding a splash to your outfits and screaming summertime.

Rompers from Bevello
This little list should inspire you to add some pieces you might need for your social events of the season. Time to turn heads as you step out in style this summer!
