It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band!

This month, we introduce a new House Band member: guitarist David Bangert, joining veteran House Band members Joshua Bosworth, Brooke Briner, Ripley Florek, and Grant Watson. Bangert discusses his background in music – and with a big holiday just around the corner, all five musicians share their favorite Halloween songs.

School of Rock owner/GM David Joseph is also on hand to promote a pair of upcoming shows: a midseason Halloween show (and hurricane-relief fundraiser) at Cats Cradle on Sunday, October 27, and a show at Southern Village on Saturday, November 2, to mark the grand opening of UNC’s new Rare Pediatric Disease Center.

Listen to their conversation, plus the band’s performances of Foals’ “Snake Oil,” The Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” and Bruce Springsteen’s epic “Jungleland.”
