It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band!
This month, we’re joined by House Band members Ripley Florek, JJ Helbert, and Conlan Sharp – all of whom have just returned from a summer tour that took them first to Seattle, then to Asheville. They reflect on that recent experience and look ahead to the coming year – which includes not only another stint with the House Band, but also the chance to zoom in on the catalogs of specific rock legends. School of Rock owner/GM David Joseph is also on hand, to look ahead to the fall and to promote a pair of upcoming shows: the Adult Band’s show at the Speakeasy in Carrboro on Wednesday, August 21, and a full day of end-of-summer-season shows at Cats Cradle Back Room Sunday, August 25.
