It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band!

This month, Aaron welcomes a record nine members of the House Band: Kam Boone, Sabrina Buckel, Liam Chaires, Marlowe Chi, Ethan Juliano, Mira Kaplan, Conor Kelts, Lachlan McElwee, and Kate Stokes. Boone, Buckel, Chi, and Kaplan are all making their debuts on Live & Local, so they introduce themselves – and then all nine share their hopes for the coming year, including the House Band’s always-popular summer tour.

School of Rock owner/GM David Joseph is also on hand to discuss upcoming events, including an all-day midseason show in Pittsboro Sunday, October 25.

Listen to their conversation, plus the band’s performances of The Brothers Johnson’s “Strawberry Letter 23,” Portishead’s “Glory Box,” and Chris Rainbow’s “Be Like A Woman.”
