This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Chapel Hill Transit operator Stan Norwood, who is retiring after 32 years of service.
What principle did Norwood live by during his years as a bus operator?
“All people are different, therefore you have to take each individual as they are,” he said. “You greet each of them and do your best to provide good service to them.”
