Hometown Hero: John Riley

This week’s Hometown Hero is John Riley, the Senior Lake Warden for Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA). He previously worked as a Wildlife Biologist for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, where he served for 12 years.

“I do love what I do. It’s the best job at OWASA and I brag about that to my co-workers all the time. It’s just a really neat job that lets me talk to folks on a daily basis, plus it’s just a satisfying thing knowing that we’re taking care of the folks’ water.”
