This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Chapel Hill deputy town manager Flo Miller.
“Flo has always been there for the council and for the staff and for the community of Chapel Hill,” said former Chapel Hill town council member Lauren Easton.
“She has been a tireless selfless worker who has gone above and beyond and yet has not really sought out, you know, recognition for what she does or necessarily the limelight or anything like that.”
Easton said that Miller deserved special recognition for her 30 years of service to Chapel Hill.
“She’s worked alongside several town managers. She’s kept the township going straight and on its course for many, many years.”
