Gene and Louise Drogos are Friday’s Hometown Heroes.
The couple recently celebrated their 70th anniversary.
Gene and Louise have been active in the community for decades. They’ve been members of St. Thomas More since 1957 and have been instrumental in the success of that church. Gene has worked with the Knights of Columbus.
They are both veterans of the World War II. Twelve years ago they were given the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, a prestigious award given to citizens of North Carolina.
