This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Jim Potts, the chairman of the 30th Annual Carolina Blood Drive.
“I volunteered for this job. I’ve been donating blood for a long time and the opportunity presented itself and I definitely wanted to get more involved in the university and the community, so I jumped at this chance to be a part of the Carolina Blood Drive planning committee and I’m glad that I did.”
