National Blood Supply Reaches Record Low, NC Red Cross Calls for More Donors
Despite the efforts of the Carolina Blood Drive, the Red Cross said it desperately needs more donations. The organization supplies 40 percent of the country’s blood, and now says if it does not receive help from more donors, then many patients may face delays in treatment.
