Amanda and Kevin Miller are relatively new to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community. They came here from New York just a few years ago and jumped into the community with both feet.
Amanda and Kevin are foster parents and have adopted two of their foster children. They are licensed foster parents with Orange County DSS. Both of them do a lot of marketing and recruiting to get people involved with the foster care program.
Amanda has served on the Arts Commission and the Veterans Memorial Committee. She also serves on the board at Kidzu.
Kevin became active in his church where he served as a deacon. With his church, he has done a lot of work at Festifall.
