This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Bill Ferris!
Ferris is a UNC professor and Grammy Award winner and Pulitzer Prize nominee who has spent a good deal of his life devoted to the stories and histories of the American South. The William R. Ferris Collection in the Southern Folklife Collection of UNC’s Wilson Library bears his name, and this week he is our Hometown Hero!
