This fall, Carolina Public Humanities is hosting a series of conversations called “Two Brains,” with two leading scholars discussing critical issues and ideas. The series launches Thursday, September 18, with a free event called “Constitutions as Living Documents: Promises, Procedures, and Possibilities.” That event will feature NC Central law professor Irving Joyner in conversation with Ann McColl, the executive director of the Public School Forum of North Carolina.
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the NC School of Science and Mathematics; it’s also being held in connection with Carolina K-12, so teachers and students are especially encouraged to attend.
Aaron welcomes Carolina K-12 director Cori Greer-Banks and speaker Ann McColl to discuss the event – and the importance of North Carolina’s state constitution, when it comes to public education.
