Howell leads the ACC in three major categories this season with 27 touchdown passes, 3,352 passing yards and a 182.3 passer rating. He ranks third nationally in yards and fifth in touchdowns.

The Tar Heels currently rank fourth in the nation in total yards per game with Howell behind center, breaking numerous school records along the way.

UNC is 8-3 in 2020 and is on the verge of the program’s first ever Orange Bowl appearance.

The winner of the Manning Award will be announced once all bowl games are completed in January.
