After scoring six goals and dishing out an assist in UNC’s 24-13 win over No. 7 Denver this past Saturday, Tar Heel senior Chris Gray was chosen Tuesday as the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week.
This marks the third career ACC weekly honor for Gray, who has played just eight games for UNC since transferring from Boston University prior to the shortened 2020 season.
In those eight games, UNC has gone 8-0 and Gray has compiled 54 total points–a blistering scoring pace for one of the nation’s top players.
The Tar Heels are 1-0 this season and recently moved up to No. 2 in the national rankings ahead of this weekend’s game against Jacksonville.
