Just days after winning the program’s fourth consecutive ACC Tournament title, the UNC women’s team regained its spot as the No. 1 ranked team in America–according to the new Oracle/ITA rankings that were released on Wednesday.
UNC was ranked No. 1 for six weeks earlier in the season, but has spent the large majority of the season at No. 2.
The Tar Heels currently boast a 29-1 record in dual matches, which is six more wins than any other school in the country.
UNC will find out its NCAA Tournament matchups on Monday, April 29.
