Through two rounds of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, the UNC women’s golf team remains in 10th place after combining to shoot 8-over-par on Saturday.

This one stroke improvement over Friday’s performance brought the team’s total score for the tournament up to 17-over-par.

Freshman Jennifer Zhou shot a 1-under-par 71 on Saturday after shooting a 73 on Friday, making her the Tar Heels’ top individual performer in the event so far.

Zhou, who is at even par for the tournament, is 15th on the individual leaderboard.

The next best UNC golfers this weekend have been Kelly Whaley (+2) and Nicole Lu (+3).

Duke remains atop the team leaderboard with a score of 15-under-par, eight strokes ahead of second place Arkansas.

On the individual side of things, Wake Forest’s Emilia Migliaccio holds a three-shot lead with a score of 9-under-par.
