The UNC women’s golf team picked up a seventh place finish on Sunday at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, finishing with a team score of 20-over-par over the 54-hole event.
A total of 18 teams competed in the tournament, which was won by Duke for the fifth time in the last six years. The Blue Devils ended with a combined team score of 14-under-par.
The top individual performer for the Tar Heels was freshman Jennifer Zhou, who posted a 54-hole score of 1-over-par.
Wake Forest’s Emilia Migliaccio won the individual competition by finishing 11-under-par.
