Just two days after posting a shutout victory over the rival NC State Wolfpack, the UNC volleyball team returned to the court in Raleigh on Sunday and defeated the Wolfpack again — this time by a score of 3-1 (25-20, 16-25, 25-23, 25-17).

Amanda Phegley and Parker Austin tied for the UNC team lead with 11 kills apiece, as the Tar Heels improved their record to 4-2 so far in 2020.

The Wolfpack, meanwhile, fell to 0-4 with the loss despite posting a better hitting percentage than UNC–ending the match with a .205 mark in that category compared to .195 for the Tar Heels.

UNC also tallied double-digit blocks for the second consecutive match, finishing with a total of 14.
