The UNC volleyball team went to Winston-Salem on Sunday and came away with a 3-0 sweep (25-19, 25-20, 25-21) over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Parker Austin was the Tar Heels’ top offensive performer with 13 kills, representing the only player on the team to reach double digits in that category.

The key to the match was UNC’s .233 team hitting percentage. Wake Forest managed a hitting percentage of just .149, as it fell 11-14 overall this season and 1-13 in ACC play.

For the Tar Heels, it was their fourth consecutive Sunday victory. The team also improves to 13-11 (10-4 ACC) after beginning the season 1-7.
