After having its four-match win streak snapped on Friday at No. 3 Pittsburgh, the UNC volleyball team recovered nicely on Sunday in Charlottesville–earning a 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-19, 25-22) over the Virginia Cavaliers.

The Tar Heels (8-10, 5-3 ACC) trailed by seven points in the first set, but managed to come back and take that period plus the next two to earn what was their first ACC sweep of the season.

Skyler Wine had 13 kills to lead UNC’s offensive charge, while Lauren Harrison added 12 of her own as the other Tar Heel in double digits.

UNC also posted a season-best hitting percentage of .374.

Virginia fell to 9-12 overall and 1-7 in the ACC with the loss.
