The UNC softball program announced Tuesday that it has postponed this weekend’s four-game series in Chapel Hill against Georgia Tech due to ongoing COVID-19 issues.

This news comes less than a week after the Tar Heels had to postpone last weekend’s series against Florida State for the same reasons related to COVID-19 protocols.

So far this season, UNC is 10-8 overall and 6-3 inside the ACC. These recent postponements will have cost the team eight consecutive games.

Next on the schedule currently for the Tar Heels is a four-game series on the road against Clemson. The first game is set for Thursday, April 1.
