UNC junior offensive tackle William Sweet announced Friday on Twitter that he will forego his senior season with the Tar Heels in order to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Sweet was one of the top offensive linemen in the ACC this past season, and was named the league’s Offensive Lineman of the Week following UNC’s Week Three victory over Pitt–a game in which he had 10 knockdown blocks.

He becomes the second Tar Heel to declare early for the draft this offseason, after receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams did the same a few weeks ago.
