The UNC baseball team will begin the 2019 season ranked No. 6 in the Perfect Game Preseason Top 25, which was released on Wednesday morning.
Coming off their first trip to the College World Series since 2013, the Tar Heels will be looking to repeat that performance this season.
LSU will begin the year as the No. 1 team in the nation, followed by No. 2 Oregon State–the defending national champions.
Rounding out the top five in front of the Tar Heels are No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Texas Tech.
The rest of the top 10 includes: UNC, No. 7 Stanford, No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 Florida and No. 10 Ole Miss.
In addition to UNC and Louisville, the ACC is also represented by No. 14 Florida State, No. 21 NC State and No. 24 Clemson.
